Looking Lion Books, LLC is a small publishing company committed to sharing inspired stories from genuine authors. We look for people who write to encourage and widen the world. We're based in Los Angeles, CA, and we're a nimble group that's eager to share passionate stories with the world.

 

We are open to working directly with authors. Our targets value stories that inspire, inform, encourage, and empower. We prefer authors who write from a place of passion rather than to promote their career; although it's possible to pursue both concurrently, we like what we like. :-)

MSWL: We prefer fiction, including speculative (fantasy, sci-fi, etc.) or historical/modern fiction. We like epics with massive world-building, fresh takes on old tales or ideas, or intriguing stories about worlds within worlds. We're not discouraged by religious themes or undertones, especially not when they're attached to a unique angle. We're open to Children's, YA, or Trade/Adult fiction.

 

We only review complete, professionally edited stories.
